ICOI Fellowship Programme

Structured implant education and clinical development towards ICOI Fellowship.

Overview

The ICOI Fellowship Programme is designed for dentists who place, restore or rehabilitate implants and are working towards ICOI Fellowship. It builds the implant knowledge and clinical development that the credential recognises, with teaching from IADE’s international faculty.

ICOI Fellowship itself is a credential awarded by the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), not by IADE. You apply to ICOI directly for the credential.

About the ICOI Fellowship credential

As published by ICOI, you need:

  • Active ICOI membership
  • 20 implant cases completed successfully
  • At least 100 hours of implant education in the past five years

Fellows then attend at least one ICOI meeting every three years and complete 100 hours of implant education over each five-year period. ICOI asks applicants to allow about six weeks for processing.

ICOI sets and may change these requirements: please check icoi.org before you apply.
