Who is the MSc in Implant Dentistry for?
It is for practising dentists who hold a recognised dental qualification and current professional registration, and who have completed recognised postgraduate training in oral surgery, dental implantology or prosthetics.
Is the programme fully online?
Teaching is online and part-time, through live lectures and recorded sessions, so you can keep practising. The programme also includes a live surgery workshop in Kuala Lumpur for hands-on clinical experience.
How long does it take?
Twelve months, part-time. The viva examination is usually held about twelve months after the programme starts.
What language is it taught in?
English.
When does the next intake start?
The December 2026 intake starts on 10 December 2026. Applications close 31 October 2026.
How many students are accepted?
Cohorts are small. The programme is limited to 10 students, and places are allocated first-come, first-served.
What does it cost?
The fee is €8,500, payable in full before your application is considered.
Which university awards the degree?
Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid, Spain.
What are the ICOI Fellowship and Mastership?
They are advanced credentials awarded by the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), not by IADE. IADE offers programmes linked to them, and you apply to ICOI directly for the credential. Each programme page lists ICOI's published requirements.
What documents do I need?
A completed application form, CV, passport copy, primary dental qualification certificate, proof of current professional registration, a recent photograph and proof of English proficiency where required. See the admissions page for details.
